Frank Stern has perfected himself in holding lectures using short films, which stories and visual power he considers extremely important tools for teaching and reaching younger generations, and opening new dimension to teaching history and emotional identification. As part of the lectures in Zagreb the movies screened will cover the subjects of the holocaust and keeping the remembrance, tolerance, migrations and current situation in Europe, encouraging discussions with students and thinking about these questions.

The lecture is intended for pupils of second, third and fourth grades of high schools and students.
Initiator of the Jüdischen Filmclub Wien in 2008, Mr. Frank Stern is a German professor of film, modern German history and culture, director of Center for German studies and Austro-German study programs at University of Beer-Shevi in Israel, a lecturer at numerous faculties and universities as well as a leading authority in the field of Judaism.
He is the author of numerous acclaimed books and has as a lecturer participated in Educational Mornings in 2011. As such we are very proud that he has decided to join us for the 2nd. Festival in Ljubljana.
