The roundtable entitled 'Editorial boards under fire' will address the exposure of journalists to pressures, threats, violence and incitement aimed at the media and journalists in the public sector and other media. The conversation at this roundtable will try to draw attention to the exposure of newspapers not only to censorship and intimidation but also to broader social pressures to make their work subject to creating and transmitting 'correct' information and stories.
This discussion will be participated by the representatives of organizations whose work addresses the role and position of media and democratic political culture (GONG, Centre for Peace Studies, Human Rights Film Festival Barcelona and H-Alter) and will be hosted by the journalist Robert Tomić Zuber.
