Ceija Stojka as a part of the "Requiem for Auschwitz" exhibition will be presented to the local audience with 18 drawings and 17 acrylic paintings. The motives of nature and the literary testimonies of numerous camps where she spent her childhood witness to the horrors we are reminded of in order to fight for a more peaceful tomorrow for the coming generations, as well as to preserve the memories of the horrors of Nazi and all other autocratic regimes. As part of the exhibition, we will also present a short documentary film by Karin Berger from 2005: "THE GREEN GREEN GRASS BENEATH". The documentary focuses on memories of the seventeen-year-old Ceija Stojke on time spent in Nazi concentration camps. The exhibition lasts until February 08 and is realized thanks to the partnership with the Austrian Cultural Forum Zagreb and the entrance is free.
