Promoting the idea of tolerance through visual and artistic action is an extremely important part of the Festival.
We continue the Festival's artistic tradition this year as well, becoming once again the meeting point of Croatian cultural scene and European and international artists and art projects.
12th edition of The Festival of Tolerance presents two fascinating photographers and their projects – „Humanæ“ by Angélica Dass and „About the Holocaust“ by Silvia Grav.
Festival of Tolerance isn't just another film festival, but a festival which puts a great deal of attention to all art forms for the purpose of promoting intercultural dialogue. Having that in mind, book promotions are an integral part of the side programme of the festival. The festival is presenting and promoting literary works which speak of the Holocaust, tolerance and socially engaged topics.
This festival edition will present two totally different perspectives of the same event - probably the most innovative version of the novel "The Diary of Anne Frank" and a book by so-called Nazi Hunter, Efraim Zuroff, who will present the book himself.
