Festival of Tolerance continues it's concept of film projections and discussions about actualities outside the festival format. After the screening of film Midnight Traveler follows the discussion on topics of refugees and migrants.

ANNOUNCMENT OF COOPERATION BETWEEN FESTIVAL OF TOLERANCE AND ORGANIZATION ARS SEPTIMA

By the end of this year, the organization Ars Septima will announce a screenwriting contest for young and unknown screenwriters. The winning screenplay will be announced at the 14th Festival of Tolerance in April of 2020.

13TH FESTIVAL OF TOLERANCE COMES TO A SUCCESSFUL END

Over seven days and in three different venues, the Festival showed almost 80 films and organized numerous educational and entertaining programs. Despite the issue of having to move a part of the program to a new venue, everything went according to plan.

TWO EXCEPTIONAL DOCUMENTARIES IN CINEMA TUSKANAC TODAY

The festival hit Ex-shaman (shown at 7 pm), which won awards at the Berlin Film Festival and Chicago Film Festival, follows the once isolated Amazon tribe Paiter Surui that has been facing assaults of the modern era ever since 1969, when it made first contact with the white man.

The Austrian biographical film titled “Angelo” is one of the highlights of this year's programme. The film is based on the life story of an African slave who was baptised and educated at the Vienna court only to become a black mascot of the aristocracy later on.

As part of the Tolerance Talk program, this year’s discussion topics will range from the issue of the so-called gay conversion therapy, community activism, issues of Europe and racism, human rights, the migrant crisis to how the Holocaust changed the world and child sexual abuse by members of the clergy.
