Following its tradition, the 14th edition of the Festival of Tolerance will bring a series of discussions about the films, which will be screened as part of the Festival’s programme sections.
Current social phenomena (refugee crisis, migration, growing intolerance and fascism, decline of women’s rights due to the expansion of neo-conservative forces) seem to reveal growing social and cultural antagonisms and the need to talk about the injustice, insisting on the dialogue and collaboration on levels of the community is now more significant than ever.
The first Tolerance Talk Darkness behind Closed Doors will focus on the rights of women victims of different forms of violence, including rape, i.e. the rights of women exposed to different forms of secondary victimisation.
The second Tolerance Talk will focus on new ideas and manifestations of fascism and racism in Croatia, Europe and the rest of the world. The Tolerance Talk panellists will discuss the two films from this year’s Festival.
